Terms of Service
By using JustForms ("the Service") you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable; bring a lawyer if it matters.
1. Account
You must be 16 or older. You're responsible for your password and any activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
2. What you can do
- Collect form submissions on websites you own or operate
- Use the public API to build integrations
- Resell access as part of a larger service (e.g. agency reselling forms to clients)
3. What you can't do
- Send unsolicited bulk email through our auto-reply feature
- Collect data on people without legal basis (consent, contract, etc.)
- Use the Service for illegal content — fraud, CSAM, doxing, harassment, malware distribution
- Probe, scan, or reverse-engineer for vulnerabilities without our written consent (responsible disclosure is welcome — email security@justforms.io)
- Exceed your plan quota by hammering the API in bypass attempts
Violations result in immediate account suspension. Severe violations may be reported to law enforcement.
4. Plans and billing
- Plans renew monthly or annually by credit card via Stripe
- Annual plans save approximately 17% (2 months free)
- You can change or cancel anytime in the Customer Portal
- Failed payments trigger a 7-day grace period, then account suspension. Cancellation is automatic if not resolved within 30 days
- Refunds within 30 days of purchase, no questions, on monthly plans. Annual: prorated after day 30
- Overages above plan quota are billed at $0.005 per extra submission unless you disable overages in settings (which causes a hard stop instead)
- Prices may change with 30-day notice for existing customers
5. Service availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime. Paid plans have a 99.9% monthly uptime SLA (credits issued on miss — see SLA addendum on request for Business). Free plans have no SLA.
6. Data processing
For data your visitors submit through your forms, you are the data controller and JustForms is the data processor. You agree to the terms of our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), available on request to legal@justforms.io.
7. Intellectual property
The JustForms software is MIT licensed and available on GitHub. The trademark "JustForms" and our branding (logos, copy, design) are not — those remain ours. You may self-host the code freely; you may not call your fork "JustForms" or imply affiliation.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JustForms' total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify JustForms against claims arising from your use of the Service in violation of these terms or applicable law.
11. Termination
You can cancel anytime. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms with notice (or immediately for severe violations). Termination of a paid account leaves your data accessible for 30 days for export.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes resolved in courts of Mohali, Punjab.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes notified by email 30 days in advance.
